The Dogs of Harith – study, 1925–6
Red chalk and pencil, 28 cm x 23.5 cm (the paper has been cut; both pieces are drawn on)
The composition is that of Dogs of the Beni Hillal – an Arabian Legend 1925 and is less elaborate than that in the final drawing.
