No Bull in Spain

No Bull in Spain, 1965 (signed and inscribed)
Pencil and watercolour, 44 cm x 32 cm

Two men wearing ceremonial uniform similar to that of the British Life Guards drink and smoke at a café table in front of a bullfight poster showing matadors and bulls. The title presumably puns on 'bull' as military slang for excessive discipline or ceremony.
